Offshore/Deep Sea trips you will be fishing the Gulf of Mexico on a 2006 Parker 2501(30′ length overall) powered by a brand new 350hp Suzuki outboard engine OR a 2021 Cobia 35′ Center Console with a private head and A/C cabin, powered by twin Yamaha 425hp engines. United States Coast Guard Licensed and Insured and Federally Permitted. All required safety gear, VHF radio, EPIRB. Equipped with plenty of rod holders, oversized T-top for a decent amount of shade, live bait wells, cooler space, and tons of fishing room compared to other boats in its class. Dual Garmin GPS/Fishfinders, Garmin Radar and a Fusion sound system with Bluetooth technology. Hook up via Bluetooth and play your own music over the boat speakers. Some cushioned seating is available for the trek to the fishing grounds, as well as marine bean bag chairs for riding out in complete comfort.

Q: Where do we depart from?

A: We will depart from Bay Pines Marina – 5000 92nd Street N. St Petersburg, FL 33708.

Q: What time do we leave the dock?

A: Generally we leave between 7-8am for morning trips and 12-2pm for afternoon trips, however this may change depending on time of year and our weather patterns.

Q: Do you have federal permits?

A: Yes, The Parker and the Cobia are both federally permitted vessels. Without these permits you are limited to fishing in state waters which is only out to 9 nautical miles. Beware of Illegal charters asking you to buy your own fishing license!

Q: Are we going to catch fish?

A: We GUARANTEE you will catch fish! If you don’t catch anything, your trip is free! Your captain will work hard to put you on quality fish. Check out our Gallery of recent catches! Note: We cannot guarantee Tarpon catches

Q: Is a deposit required to secure a date?

A: Due to high demand in busy seasons, we do require a $250 deposit to guarantee your date.

Q: What if the weather is not good?

A: If the weather is unfavorable for fishing, your captain will be in contact with you to reschedule or cancel your trip. If the captain cancels the trip due to weather and you are not able to reschedule, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Everything is provided for you; including all rods and reels, tackle, cooler with ice for your food and drinks, fishing licenses, and bait. You will need to bring your own food and drinks, sunscreen, hat, etc. If you want to bring your own cooler, please consolidate and do not bring several coolers. We are only out for a maximum of 10 hours on our longer trips, and less is more when it comes to what you actually need offshore. Please do not overload the boat with unnecessary gear!

Q: Will you filet our catch?

A: Your captain will filet and bag your catch for you. We do not keep sharks or Permit.

Q: Will I get seasick?

A: If you are prone to motion sickness; sea sickness is a possibility. Non-drowsy Dramamine is recommended if you are worried about getting sea sick.

Q: How can we pay for the trip?

A: We accept cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Square. Balance due at the end of your fishing trip. There is a 3% fee for any credit card transactions.

Q: Do we have to tip?

A: Although tipping is not required, it is the industry standard. Just like when you visit a restaurant for dinner, tipping is not mandatory but it is expected. Your captain and crew work very hard before and after your trip to make sure you have a great day on the water. 20% of the trip cost is customary.

Q: What type of gear do you use?

A: We use a combination of Shimano and Daiwa reels, Dogfish tackle rods, and our personal favorite L.T. Custom Rods.

Q: Can we bring alcohol on the boat?

A: Absolutely! However, please no hard liquor or glass bottles.

Q: What is the refund/cancellation policy?

A: If the captain cancels your trip due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be issued a full refund if you are unable to reschedule. Any cancellation by the customer must be cancelled more than 48 hours before your trip departure, otherwise your deposit is non-refundable. Any no call/no show is responsible for 50% of the cost of the trip. Cancellation Policy is at the captains full discretion.

***If you vomit inside the Cabin on the Cobia, or clog the toilet with foreign objects there will be a $250 cleaning fee, NO EXCEPTIONS!***

***If any boat equipment/gear is damaged/lost/destroyed due to your negligence, you will be held fully responsible for the cost of repair/replacement***
